if we get nothing tonight, Colchester away on Sat is a 6 pointer, shudder...P3 W0 D0 L3, it'll be just like the good ol days on here....
Try P5 W0 D0 L5 If we fail to get anything out of the next two games that i think we will struggle against Southampton and Norwich.
Season we got in't play offs we lost the first two.
One season we lost the 1st 6 and were reight.
However, there'll be mums letterboxes all over TARN taking a beating should we emerge from the first week sans points.

Colchester will be Graham Poll's first game since the world cup. Hope he's been practising his counting! ff
Let's hope that the chairman and others decide to back the manager and keep us in this division. I'm all for running the club solvently, but I fear a turgid relegation will set the club back further than had we not been promoted last season. After all though, it's only one game in. A win tonight and the world looks rosy again. Be interested to see how criticism is dealt with if it comes. Don;t send A4, cos they'll cost more
On Radio Sheff on Saturday, GS made it clear that funds had been made available to AR but that AR wanted to keep faith in the present squad. It came across as though it was AR's decision not to spend owt. Fairly transparent ploy by GS to protect the board from criticism imo. He also said that no talks were planned to extend AR's contract as they were only halfway through the current one. Hardly a show of faith in AR. Why not give him a rolling contract?
or let his contract run down so it costs less to sack him if/when we do drop? Do you really think that if we're in the bottom 3 come Feb that GS/PC won't pull the trigger?
I'd hope that they look beyond their nose ends and see that we need to look long ternm. Ritchie's building a squad and management team which will grow and develop. Chopping and changing has proved to be a roaring success in the past.....
I know what you'd hope but it's not going to happen is it. Let's be honest. GS seemed to be distancin the board from AR already on Saturday. Can't believe the any manager would turn down money to improve the team. Unless he's waiting until end of this month to see how they settle down. Risky strategy though.
How many games this season? will you break double figures? there's room in the Hull car park for your Range Rover, Farquar. witBFCplateart.
RE: Wont you have an allocated parking bay Prawns are VERY passe at the moment. Chip butties avec sauce rouge are the rage now. It's part of the 'New Northern' cuisine. Y'know grease wit lot. art.
It depends on the level of stick the board's getting.
If we are playing well and the results aren't going for us, then they'll stick with AR as he'll have two months to pull away from the relegation zone.
For me ? sacking Ritchie would be the biggest mistake for a long time (and boy have we made a few other) he's the best manager at the club since DW. I'd get him (and Holden) signed up asap.
