Still 30pts to play for and a game in hand vs charlton... Doesn't look good for us but we still have plenty to play for. Last year we were written off, and years previous... It's was same old negative pish then. We could see another win. Then after two wins on the bounce the players and fans started to believe. And we turned our season around. "Don't worry about a thing coz every little thing is gonna be alright"

Never mind players having no passion and spirit where is ours the fans?

I don't understand all the negative verbal spouted on the board e.g. "Worst display in years". I actually fought for majority of the game we did ok. Last 10-15mins we played like frightened rabbits, couldn't pass, pointing fingers and heads gone. Its mental toughness we lack when things aren't going our way. And yesterday we got nowt, ref gave them every 50/50 and the ball even bounced in there direction dog awful luck to concede so late.

But on a positive we chances, in fact we had two clear chances woods/Pedersen, and two decent penalty shouts. If any one of those we converted and the lads had an ounce of confidence we may have won that one. But instead we crumbled.

McLaughlin looked good. Steele was busy all day long and made some key saves. Pedersen worked hard, made runs and gave us an option in the box. Dawson put in a shift. Jennings & O'Grady too. Kennedy had a good first half but one bad pass in second, a few jeers and he crumbled. Hunt was out of sorts, Danny said injury flaired up. I like woods but he had a shocker! Nayatanga was ok. Mvoto did well when he can on. Cwyka did nowt.
Apart from last 15mins performance and woods bad day at the office I can't really criticise. It's clear we need leaders on the pitch, things changed as soon as Ramage had gone off. He will be a big miss.

When's bobby back? His influence is key. Lawrence should be, hope he can step it up. And possibly we can add anothe loan maybe two? Centre back vital and midfielder with a good engine who can add to goal tally... A youngster in drinkwaters mould would do. Give Pedersen a run of games, throw in a few of the academy lads. Rose for last 10 mins to mix it up, it worked last year. Even teen goal machine Nana from kids.

Let's give some support and start to believe. If we don't how can the players. And vice versa!

    Come on you reds!

Excellent post. Good to read something without negativity.

You could have summed it all up by saying Steele was busy in nets

Thought we played ok , and a lot better than recent games . Played with more tempo and pressed more , maybe we can get enough points to stay up , but it's going to be a hard slog

You'll need to have another look at the league table, as Charlton have two games in hand over Barnsley.

Keep up the optimism though mate, we need more of it on here.
