Probably broadband connection with this site always open - saves him pissing about opening up the site again. I do the same sometimes even tho I'm at work all day. His job is a trainee journalist I think.
If it is just left logged on then it doesnt show up in the users online list. That list just shows everybody that has made a movement on the site in a set period of time (30 mins). Either journo has his browser set to refresh the page every so often or he really is on as much as it shows.
Why it's any of your business I don't know, why you care I don't know, but my computer is indeed on broadband and I stay logged in whether I'm in, out or whatever. I only turn my computer off when I go to bed. Anyway, to know I'm 'always logged in', that means you must also be on here permanently actually looking at the board, so in fact it looks like you spend more time on here than me. (neer) Oh, and I'm not a trainee journalist, and haven't made a cup of tea for anyone, not even myself, for about 2 years. Anything else? (blaze)
that wouldnt explain why you're always showing as active on this site it only logs movement between pages. so somebody is using your account a lot to browse the site
