what the Preston manager might say if he went all Davey like and compiled a dossier on us: Colgan - put pressure on him from set pieces, rarely leaves his goal line for aerial balls and doesn't know how to command his defenders. Hassell - good player but a bit slow, try to use pace to get past him. Atkinson - done little wrong thus far, only played a handful of games so watch for daft mistakes ie v. Burnley header straight to opposition on edge of box. Paul Reid - crap, don't worry about him just keep quiet and hope they don't realise that Kay fella is on the bench. Eckersley - decent left back, just take the ball away from him and towards Reid. Kyel Reid - good player, good pace and plays a couple of decent balls into the danger are, doesn't matter though because none of the strikers can manage even a tap in. Quite small, can be muscled off the ball. Mattis - playing his first game since signing from a League 2 side, was Bury's player of the year but that means nothing in the Championship. Howard - class player, likes to get forward, makes good passes and scores goals. Get a few men round him and keep him quiet, the rest are so poor you can afford to do this. Togwell - Good holding midfielder who doesn't let much past him and plays the ball out nicely once he's won it. Playing on the right wing though so won't be much of a threat. Nardiello - naturally talented, very ball greedy so just run him to the corner flag he'll never pass it. Hold a good offside line he's so lazy he'll never move back. Hayes - works hard, lacks the pure ability to pull of a really good finish.
