Anyone else spot Clive Wijnhard sat alongside Marciano Bruma in our end last night? They must be buddies, good to see them sat amongst the Barnsley faithfully.

Yeh I was sat near them too. I knew it was Bruma but I didn't know who the other bloke was and I can't say I've heard of him.

We tried to sign Clive Wijnhard a few years ago

He played in one of our pre season games but didn't sign - used to play for Leeds and had a spell at Oldham and Huddersfield

Oh he was prolific in his time owd Clive. Him and Marcus Stewart at Huddersfield, they terrorised defences. We were set to sign him at one time but the deal collapsed for one reason or another.
On his day he was an excellent striker. I was disappointed when we didn't sign him, altho' he was probably past his best by then.

Has Bruma bought a season ticket?

I hope so, cos I can't see him displacing Werling at the moment.

It wasn't. Parkin was the manager and he played in the pre-season game against Leeds in 2002.

It was a couple of months before admin.

Players generally sit in the stand with the fans

Sat in front of Hristov at Tottenham away in the cup

Where my season ticket was in the East upper seemed to be near some club seats, there were regularly players sat there
