Does anybody think that the recent outgoings have the potential to hobble our ability to 'wheel and deal' on any incoming targets in this window? Just thinking that other clubs will assume we're awash with cash to spend, based on speculative figures. We're generating income alright. We probably have a proportion of this to spend. Clubs may be inflating the value of their players in any dealings with Barnsley FC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Either way we have six days to get some permanent signings in and two games to play with one on deadline day.
I think our lack of ambition and assumed **** pay is more likely to put potential players off. If BFC were wanting to sign me I'd be asking who else is linely to be sold this Jan and in the summer
The whole thing is a complete mess brought about by the people in charge at Oakwell, the past and present weakness in transfer dealings and contract negotiations both in coming and out going is being exploited by Players agents and other clubs. The policy was to sell 1 per window not 2,3,4 who knows how many before the window closes. I worry hecky will decide he can't take the club forward if his team is going to disappear every transfer window and join the queue to leave.
