Against Preston, I'd like to see Dougall on right-hand side and Halme at defensive mid, if Diaby is fit. Reckon Preston will come to win and we need to contain them. Then bring on Thomas and Simoes late on to nick a winner. Probably be 2-0 down by half-time though.
Don't think there's any point us trying to contain sides for a full game with the current defence. Although I have thought it would be useful to have both in midfield for last ten mins of a game if we are ahead. Struber doesn't have a lot of options on the bench but he does tend to make like for like switches regardless of the scoreline.
Despite arseholing us at their place they've been on a poor run recently, we really should be looking to get the 3 points here and I don't think setting up to contain them is the right way to go about it. We should approach the game like any other at Oakwell under Struber, as it seems to have largely worked well so far.
Nothing like positive thinking is there. I think if we score first we can go on to win the game. The lads didn't like losing on Saturday to Bristol and didn't deserve to either. So they will be up for this once. It's Preston North End not Inter Milan and a game we can win.
