Which Keith Hill, and I am a fan of his actually, keeps going on about. Ok so we didn't need Doyle or Addison against Donny but they are exceptionally rubbish you would suspect we would be playing one or the other, especially away from home. Suppose we can call him back if necessary? but still seems a bit odd to me.

The deal might have been arranged before the Assulin deal fell through.

Although I do rate Doyle he don't fit into the new style football we are playing.

    no pal your wrong,

the reason he's gone is because he'll be on good money, the sort of money we can't afford any more

    I rate Doyle

does a job, gives 110% and in certain games (like Leeds away) reckon he's a good option to have on the bench. I hope there's a recall clause, cos if Perkins or Drinkwater get injured we'll be lightweight in the middle. Butterfield doesnt so much 'tackle', as 'cuddle'.

he was so ****e he hit a 60 yard crossfield pass onto o'briens foot to set up gray for a sitter against coventry.
should have sent frank bruno back instead.

Nathan DOYLE threw his "teddy out of the cot" on Saturday against Doncaster when he didn't make bench......this was probably not breaking club rules, but maybe does not fit keith Hills DNA profile, which is why he is on his way to PNE to join up with his old manager Phil Brown?

Baffling. One day our squad is thin and we need loan players to get us through, the next day our best truly defensive midfielder is sent out on loan leaving us a man down.

Even more baffling is that we send one of our own players out yet keep a far weaker player in the exact same position who is only on loan.

Don't know when the iPlayer footage of the lads training was taken (posted a couple of hours ago), but Doyle is on that

I'd have thought that was obvious. re Perkins/Doyle I mean

Now lets talk about Doyle. When Hill first arrived, Doyle was reputed to have said " I'll be out on loan soon- 1st div players in means 1st div is where we will end up - and I dont want that" or words to that effect. (I believe my source in the east yorkshire). So I think its just taken Doyle longer to get out than he thought it would.
Funny that - Preston, now what div are they in?

I think it's simply a case of the manager moving a player on who doesn't fit into his plans. If Nathan Doyle is unhappy here, it's probably for the best for all parties.
