Was our best player last year by a country mile...today for the 1st half I could not tell what position he was playing in. 2nd half was better in central midfield where he belongs. Must get the best out of Doyle or we are doomed.
Agree he looked lost. I`m not sure how a team with Addison, Doyle and Perkins can make anything happen other than their defensive capabilities. Doyle can certainly pressure the opposition and win possession but then he needs to turn into Addison to lay the ball off to a red shirt. Addison could do with Doyle`s mobility. One good player, one position but needing 2 shirts at the moment.
Absolutely. Until Vaz Te came on there wasn't one stand out performance; the whole team was poor individually and collectively. One or two of them looked ok in patches but generally it was an abject performance. Massive improvement required and expected.
