Doesn't bother me at all as I rarely go into Barnsley anyway except for the football and if I did I would just catch the train. Can see why many are annoyed though. People that live at Shat now have to get a bus to Denby Dale and train to Barnsley for college. Obviously it means they have to get up earlier in the morning and have to spend more travelling. I find it funny how some have complained they now only have one bus an hour. I have had that for years and it's just something you get used to. But as of tomorrow it changes to three an hour.

and the 236 too. Absolutely ridiculous in my humble opinion.

For the next town along, the train takes far too long from town centre to town centre. A new Express bus service is needed and I think would carry passengers and make a profit.

It's not just the Huddersfield thing though, we now don't have (but did in the last year or so) a quick bus from Barnsley to Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield or, you could argue Doncaster.

    If The..........

profit margin for a bus between two nearby towns isn't worth while, I would be surprised.
