Who took you ?

Was it Sue, the only woman, she failed me on my bike test couple a months ago, said I wasn't going fast enough down West way, it had been raining and I was only doing 37 in a 40 zone ffs. (she actually said this) didn't complain though, passed the next time again with Sue, she normally does bikes but also cars and she likes you to get your foot down.
Fair enough, but is one of the biggest causes of motorcycle fatalities not goibg fast enough???? I think not. (kissmyass)

You obviously did something wrong to fail.

It's normally the inabilities of the rider

on a bike too powerful for them.

Sorry to hear you aren't having any luck in passing your test.

I had similar problems passing my car test. I passed both my bike tests 1st time but I failed the car test 3 times!

I was very nervous on my tests, it was so bad my legs use to shake.

I tried this little trick before my last test and It worked for me.

First of all don't put pressure on yourself by telling loads of people you are taking your test.

Second, convince yourself that you are going to fail your next test. This really relaxed me as it took the pressure off. On the test I just drove and was nice and relaxed and didn't feel under any pressure at all.

The result was an easy pass.

Did the same thing on a Job interview a few years later.

There were two internal candidates who looked to have the job stitched up between them. I thought I had no chance of getting it. I change my attitude from wanting the job to "well I may as well stay just for the experience of being interviewed". When I went into the interview the pressure was off and I had an enjoyable interview, if there is such a thing.

The result was that I was also offered the job.

Noon tight corners... blind corners so i had to stop at bottom of road as i couldnt get through.. so your saying its appropriate to smash into cars then?

    Both your bike tests?

No, but if you can't control a car properly even round "tight corners" then he/she was right in failing you. It's often the ones who say they can drive, and who think they can drive that are the most dangerous out there.

Like I said not going fast enough, or not making sufficient progress, the example she gave I thought was ludicrous, 37 in a 40 wtf, a speedometer is inly designed and constructed to be accurate to 10%, I could have been doing 40 on my speedo and her's might have indicated 37, especially as the roads were wet.
My instructor had said previous if she failed me on summat daft not to argue as chances were she'd be taking me again.
I passed the next time on exactly the same route, this time did 45 down Westway, she passed with only 2 minors...

if its a tight corner you should use forward planning to see its a tight blind bend and slow down before the bend not after it or whilst driving round it
