Needs signing up on a longer loan. Seems really solid to me. Would like to see him here longer. Thought he was unlucky with the pen. Possibly a daft challenge, but he looked to get the ball from where I was sitting.
Agree but not sure if we will try and keep him. Great throwins as well. Looked a perfectly fair challenge to me I was stunned when the ref gave a pen instead of a corner

Don,t think he,d be in our price range unfortunately you have to remember he,s playing like this and he,s been injured a long time, how good when he gets his mojo back.
I think we'll get him until January, at least. Hull have signed the lad from Dundee Utd, so I'd imagine he's ahead in the pecking order. Best left back we've had for a while, which I suppose isn't saying much, but I hope we can keep hold of him. It was a penalty for me though, but he still played very well.
That's good news hope we can keep him for a long time though I expect a 3 month loan is all we can do at this stage
He only signed a 12 month contract a month or so ago, after his last one ran out. Don't think he'd be out of our range if we really wanted him.
But, can we afford £500k out of our income this year to comply with FFP or whatever its called? (and the answer to that is probably no)
It's wages that count isn't it? I don't think we can afford him tbh. I can see him extending until January though, then maybe for the season.
Dudgeon looks to be a top, top player to me. Can do it all with composure and confidence, and has everything you want from a full-back; quick, good crosser, good passer, reads the game, can tackle, positions himself well, isn't beaten easily, and on top of all that has honed a monster of a throw-in. There was one moment in particular in the second half today where he cut out a looping cross and put it behind for a corner, beating the Gillingham forward to it. I remember just thinking that if we still had Kennedy in the team, that would have floated over his head and been a Gillingham goal. Small things like that go unnoticed from solid full-backs but can be so important in a game, and as we know all too well, error-prone full-backs cost goals. I'd doubt there's a better full-back in our league than him, and so my only worry is that he could get a move to a decent Championship club, and would surely be dependable cover for Hull in the Premier League? One thing to remember is that they are in the Europa League qualifiers. If they progress in Europe, I can imagine Brucie will want him back to help with the load of playing Thursday/Sunday. So lets hope for a Lokeren win!
He's a cracking player. It was never a penalty. I was in the family stand and from there it was clear that he took the ball. I thought it was a corner to Gillingham. He took the ball cleanly.
I was going to mention the fact that Andy Robertson has been getting rave reports since joining from United and seems to have settled in well. Giving that all this is true I'd imagine Hull might be quite will to extend any loan deal. No idea of the size of their squad but you'd think they would be well covered in all positions. Dudgeon by all accounts seems to have grasped his chance to prove something. Looking good.
Here's Andy's latest interview at Hull. BTW it hasna tain him lang tae pick up the English accent. LOL http://youtu.be/SYlDsQfmMxo
