Jonathan Buchan @jonathanbuchan 12m Joe Dudgeon tells me he would consider making his loan move from #HCAFC to #Barnsleyfc permanent if option arises in January. Bailey, Treacy and Turnbull still out. No loanees expected before weekend. Any incoming players will be experienced.
Could do with Treacy back, not much creativity in midfield at the moment. Lita and Cole up front for me tomorrow.
Lita starts tomorrow I'll be stunned. Not exactly shown much for us recently. As Scott says, I think Winnall and Cole would be more deserving based on their recent performances. Just a shame that Treacy's injured otherwise Jennings ought to be benched n all. Suppose RNL could be an option, but then again he's not been doing owt for Danny in training etc apparently. Time for a couple of them to step up though. All of the above mentioned should be top laikers at this level against the likes of Fleetwood. Another desperate display tomorrow and I fear Danny'll do what our managers always do and sign a handful of short term loan players, which never works. Not against one or two like, but boy have we been burnt in the loan market in recent years.
Been good for me, Saturday aside. But then, I'm used to watching Kennedy and Maccavelli at left back so I'm easily pleased. Don't think Brown's as bad as some suggest either. But again, three years of Wiseman...
He's been steady I'd agree but seems to lack pace and still getting back to fitness. Hopefully more to come from him. But as soon as Smith gets back to fitness I'd like to see him given a go. Brown I think provides excellent cover along the back line but seems unconvincing as first choice right back
Blades fans love McEveley as did the Swindon fans. We just seem to get players at the wrong time in their careers. Dudgeon has been fairly good so far apart from Sat when he was shocking and at fault for 2 goals.
Really? I assume you're referring to the Blunts and PNE? Both same division as us, since May. Historically better? Aye, anciently. Better clubs though? Naew. No better club than Tarn. All three I mentioned are ******* pap. I saw them play enough times to make that judgment.
I'd like him to sign permanently. Saturday aside he's been good. Him and Smith for the LB spot would do me for the next few years. Shame Treacy isn't fit. Gives Jennings a chance to put in a performance though. On the strikers - I'd go with Winnall and Cole. And stick with them for a run of games.
Would love for Dudgeon to sign a permy more good games than bad. He too will only get better as time goes on
Aye, better in support, money, history, honours, league position, grounds... Not much else they can be better on...we're in same division, for now.
I thought he was poor against Crawley and ten times worse against MK Dons. I wouldn't be rushing to sign him.
Dudgeon was poor on Saturday, but he was even worse against York. Hopefully that's the end of his dip though, because he was fine up until the York game.
