Really thought that today's signings were proving that the board were right about AR not using the transfer market when he could have. Now it seems there was only money available to fund such deals as long as McIndoe was traded in. Gone from elation at 5pm to despair at 7pm. Why do we always take as many steps back as we take forward?
You're wrong mate... We always take one step further back. Two forward, three back. The thing that really stings is the sense of being duped (as you say). 'There is money for players' etc etc. </p> It is what they're not telling us that we really ought to know. That's why I have difficulty believing this board. It all feels like a con.</p>

Two are from the league below us, one of whom has tried this level before and failed, one unheard of Hammer (who may or may not be good), and Wallwork (who's a decent enough player when he can be arsed and when he hasn't put himself out for a few months after a horrific eyebrow plucking incident).

Wrong We have borrowed 4 players for 5 weeks, one of which will be made permanent. Hopefully he will prove to be a good buy, but even if he is as influential as McIndoe we are no further forward.
Just got in and seen on Sky Sports that McIndoe's gone. Disillusioned, disappointed, pissed off! We may have signed 4 players today but we haven't made the most important. We had to get a commanding centre back. We've been saying since last season that we're weak there - that was the priority! And then to make things worse we release one of our best players. You don't do that when you are in a relegation fight ffs! Yes - I'll be there supporting them but I'm astonished at the ineptitude!
