ive got this dvd of the uddersfield play off game, but my dvd player wont play it. It says the disc is dirty, but it looks fine to me. Ive also tried playing it on my pc to no avail. Any Ideas?
This your ebay special? It may have been recorded on a home DVD recorder in DVD-VR format. If so, your standalone won't play it. If you know anyone with a set-top DVD recorder, see if it will play in that. If so, it should be possible to get your PC to read it (although it won't play it) and convert to standard DVD-Video format that you can then burn and watch. That is of course presuming your PC has a DVD writer. You will need a program such as Ulead DVD Movie Factory to do the conversion. Any problems, if you PM me and can drop me the disc in at some point, I'll sort it out (assuming it's not just a dud disc) in return for taking a copy for myself.
