Not worth buying cheap. Too many things to go wrong. This and other cheap models fall well short of the quality (Dolby Surround), RGB in etc...that is expected. Check just one post out on the recorder.... Quote....I bought this dvd recorder 13.09, connected through set top box but find picture quality really poor when viewing through recorder. picture is perfect viewing through set top box. presumably this will translate through to any recordings i make? also i cannot seem to view digital channels via the recorder. i am no technophile, wots going on? Unquote... You get what you pay for Paul.
RE: Or this on ebay: Bush and Alba use the same chassis. You know my answer regarding cheap stuff, but it's your decision.
Thanks for that mate, thought they were a little cheap...by the way Got my DVD Home Cinema up and running and its great however can't yet get tv through it. The remote has a TV button but the instructions say this is only compatible with LG tv's. On the back of my tv it has AUDIO OUT and on back of DVD it says AUX-IN. If I get the lead to connect them will I be able to view normal tv through the DVD's AUX channel setting? Paolo
RE: Thanks for that mate, thought they were a little cheap...by the way It should all loop through the one scart...but if it doesn't you'll have to go the phono way yes.
