    Are PCs "multiregion"?

What I mean is - will my PC play a Region 1 DVD - and if so, when I do a copy, would that copy still be a Region 1 only, or would the copy be multi-region?

    Yeah but no but

Your PC is multiregion but you are allowed 5 region changes before the drive locks to whatever that 5th change is.
You can get software to overcome this (it used to be DVD-Genie but I think this is now obsolete.  Roundsman will know the new one) or you can flash your drive with new firmware.  If you've never done this before find someone who has because if you **** it up it'll kill the drive.

But no, I don't know any software which makes region-locked backups.  The backup discs are always multiregion.
