DVD Writing Compatibility

May be on a bit of a wing and a prayer here but ...

I have bought and written to a number of re-writable DVD's ... which play fine on the computer and on DVD players that can handle rewritable DVD's.

I have been told that there are programs that I can use that will essentially convert a rewritable DVD into just a writeable DVD ... thus removing the ability to re-write but meaning that the content can be viewed on more players than would otherwise be the case.

Being completely knew to the compatibility or otherwise of DVD's ... is that reyt?

And if so ... where do I get one!

 

Yep, you just have to break the small tab off that prevents them being used again!
