    MATTIS DEAL TO BE COMPLETED THIS MORNING

    <img src ="http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/javaImages/62/e4/0,,10309~3073122,00.jpg">

    BARNSLEY Football Club hope to complete the signing of midfielder Dwayne Mattis from Bury this morning.

    A fee of £50,000 has been agreed between the two clubs, which would rise to £75,000 should the Reds avoid relegation at the end of the current Coca Cola Championship season. The deal also includes a 20 per cent sell on clause.

    As of 9.00am this morning the relevant paperwork has not been received at Oakwell from Bury Football Club and the deal has not yet been completed. It is expected that the formalities will be finalised later this morning.

    www.barnsleyfc.co.uk only confirms transfer news when the paperwork is completed by both Clubs and faxed to the Football Authorities and confirmation received.

    More news shortly.
