Whatever the sport..... .....beating the Aussies at ANYTHING is one of life's great joys. Don't know why, it just is. Great performance by the Lions - thoroughly deserved. Nice news for our Ashes-winning boys to hear when their plane lands later today.
Just checked my work rota and I am only working for Day 1 of the 1st test. Hopefully the tests are as close as they were last summer.
If all the bowlers are on song I fancy a few low scoring tests.
Is Michael Hussey in the Aussie test team at the moment?

Is he batting down the order? I reckon he is the only stumbling block to us knocking the Aussies over for less than 250 every game.

he hsn't been opening, and the order seems to change a bit as different players come in. It all seems to have been a bit of a practice since the last ashes series. The main game is back on again. I expect Hussey to bat at four after Ponting.
Is this the potential Aussie line-up for 1st test. Aussies.
Hayden,
Langer,
Ponting,
Hussey,
Symonds,
Clarke,
Gilchrist,
Warne,
Lee,
Johnson,
McGrath

mebbee Nathan Bracken will get in ahead of Johnson.. that seems to a be a spot to fight for. Clarke and Symonds will have to start the series well, too. Katich and Watson would get a mention at the selection meetings.. But they have had quite a long break. The team doesn't look fixed outside of Ponting, Hussey, Lee, Warne, Gilchrist, McGrath..
RE: Is this the potential Aussie line-up for 1st test. i reckon martyn might be in before symonds, hes more of a one-day specialist, but i think our batting line-up should get more runs that theres
