taking the little lad to the Doctor Who exhibition at Earls Court. Anybody know best palce to drive and get the Tube ........ live in East Midlands and its a pain getting direct trains to London main stations. Cheers
I always swear by Cockfosters. Very easy to find, sizeable car park, and for Earls Court you don't even have to change lines - Picadilly all the way. J24 M25 and head towards Cockfosters from roundabout (i.e. A111 towards London). Tube station is on LHS, car park is small entrance just before you get there. http://cache.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/pdfdocs/colourmap.pdf http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&h...0.150375&spn=0.027157,0.05579&z=14&iwloc=addr Obvious popular alternative option is Stanmore, never used it myself, but probably perfectly OK (though probably no quicker), Jubilee southbound, change at Green Park for Picadilly to Earls Court.
RE: I always swear by Cockfosters. Nice one pal.... you seem to know your way around the smoke....... thanks for the info
