It's strange that we seem to be rearranging fixtures to give ourselves as much time as possible before the next one i.e Colchester and Oldham, but everyone else is playing Good Friday and Easter Monday, while we are playing Saturday and Monday. I suppose it will give us an excuse if we dip at Colchester but I'm surprised that are not playing on the Friday like everyone else.
Thought reason club was founded was because the rugby club played on Good Friday, and the Rev. T. Preedy was against playing on that day.
I did wonder considering the opposition. I hope the police don't get double time for working bank holidays.
Aye we considered playing on Good Friday but we felt there was no way we could live up to that, so we chose **** Saturday.
