Ordering a book before the release date or price has even been decided I almost think pre-order is a valid usage here http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000818XA0/ref=amb_link_38177965_1/202-8031931-8427808
There is no legitimate use of pre-order A pre-release order perhaps. Order is something done in advance therefore putting pre before it adds nothing to the meaning. What it is though is coming in to common usage and thereby being acceptable because of that. I must read the John Humphries book I received for Christmas and see if that's something that annoys him as well.
And another thing how the fvck can you get 14 customer reviewss for a product that has never been made yet
I hadn't noticed that "I hope harry Potter will not die in this final book because it is supposed to be a childrens book and its not very good to have a tragic ending for children, the main character of the story should not die at the end to make the fans happier,i hope the author will consider the feelings of harry potter fans" What? Oh we can't possibly kill off a character cause the children will get upset.....guess this person didn't read any of Grimm's fairy tales then.
RE: Whats the difference between the childrens and adults version? nt In the adult version you see hermionie in her Hogwarts nightie
RE: Whats the difference between the childrens and adults version? nt The cover I believe. So adults don't look like complete geeks whilst reading it on the train.
From "Is It Just Me Or Is Everything ****?"... Which I keep telling you you ought to read!!! Adult Editions Of Children's Books "If you must follow the adventures of a public school conjurer, even though you are a) notionally a grown adult, and b) have probably been to university or at least to 'big school', why attempt to conceal the fact behind a different cover, as if fellow passengers will assume after a casual glance that you're actually reading Thomas Mann in the original German? Just because the train on the front is black and white rather than bright red, it doesn't suddenly become a harrowing Booker prize-winner called Harry Potter and the Genocide in Rwanda" Either that, or the adult version sees Harry Potter "get it on" with the nymphs in the wood...
The cover is the only difference quite how that works is beyond me - its a Harry Potter book ffs - everyone knows what that is whether its got a grown up cover or a kiddies one- cant see what difference it makes
I must be thick Why would you order 2 copies of the same book with different covers Or do families order several copies so they have one each?
RE: yes but order the 2 copies together Given the partner is the same book I suspect they've not set that up yet
