    Not wishing to undermine the intelligence of some e-bay buyers, but how many people need to say "I got scammed for $300, cashed the cheque no contact since" etc before they trust those who say AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    Why do people prefer to take that risk, you know just in case it's a bargain.

    I don't understand e-bay at all though. So this may be a stupid observation.
