Sold a few items about 6 week ago and sold them in the way that dosn't charge the seller anything (99p start price, no fancy text etc) and recently i've had 2 emails saying i need to pay $10 end of the month sellers fee's

It all looks official and that on the email. Is this ****** or something i didn't read about?

If the same message is not also in your ebay messages inbox it's a scam.

    Final value fee's

you will have an end of month bill based on the final values of your items (irrespective of starting price) , check the my account section of your ebay home page,

you can set up paypal to pay these automatically each month when due, saves getting banned due to forgetting to pay!!

    When you sell on eBay

you have to pay a commission (percentage of the selling price) even if the listing fee was nothing.

Any genuine emails from eBay will have your account name on them, spoof ones usually say "Dear eBay Member" or something like that.
