Listed my samsung gal s3 yesterday, someone purchased buy it now, looked at them and they only signed up to ebay this morning, no feedback, no response to messages, no payment, ebay makes it too easy for fraudsters and idiots to sign up and buy. I now have to relist and do the process of retrieving my fees

You should specify in the listing, low feedback scores contact first. Especially with such general items as a phone.

There is no hard & fast rule that buyers HAVE to pay immediately, and if they're a genuine new shopper on eBay, they might not know the form. Everyone has to start somewhere on there, and always with zero feedback - possibly a scam, or you might just have been really, really impatient with a new eBayer.

    Probably is a jackass

Although when I buy something via the ebay phone app it can be days before I'm back at my desktop and able to respond to messages and make payments.

I'd give them the benefit of the doubt for two or three days.

When I add items as Buy It Now, I always check the box that says 'Require immediate payment when using Buy It Now'. If they don't complete the checkout straight away then the item remains on eBay.

    Purely because...

I'm paranoid and don't trust making money transactions via an unsecure phone. Probably nothing to worry about in reality but I like to keep Paypal and Android at arms length.
