Check the link. I think this should be banned by Ebay - it's so wrong. Basically £470 for a PICTURE of an Xbox http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=27342&item=8241041439
theres no doubt its a lovely personts trick, but if he couldnt be arsed to read to the description in full, he has only himself to blame, expensive lesson learned im afraid.
Yes, its wrong...but... i can't see how anything can be done about it? Its not false advertising. It clearly states this is for a picture of the item...
However, i know i'd be f*cked off and it SHOULD be banned. Maybe eBay themselves don't read all the description of each item entered.

I'm not an E-bay user but....... Could the buyer not find out who the seller is during the shipping of the item?
RE: Yes, its wrong...but... It does not clearly state it's for a picture though.
That is cleverly wrapped up at the very end of the description when a potential buyer is becoming very excited about the product.
It's sharp practice and deceitful. Why go to all that trouble just to advertise a picture, when price would suggest it's anything less.
It's the type of stuff that will eventually get Ebay a bad name. There should be a code of practice and sellers of this nature should be made to refund every penny and expenses later, and banned from future trading.

RE: I'm not an E-bay user but....... Just found that you can - sent the guy a message to check the last couple of lines
