I have to admit that I view what's going on at BFC remotely from Canada do do not get to see them week in week out any longer. However..... I used to love logging on to this site, it was my little slice of home with references to pubs in tarn and day to day goings on at the 'well. Recently I find this site incredibly depressing, I didn't love Simon Davey, but every Manager fails eventually and it's the easiest thing in the world to piss and moan until you get chance to post your 'I told you so' messages. I see alot of talk of alternatives to Mark Robins with Championship experience. Not sure of all the names here but we have to be realistic, Alan Curbishley was never going to be Barnsley manager. Paul Jewell hasn't been a successful manager for a number of years. Boothroyd wasn't going to come to Barnsley with Champ/League 1 jobs up for grabs down south. I love Danny Wilson, but he hasn't been at this level for years either - I also remember how much stick Danny got when he first came here before the 'magical season'. I'm open to comments/abuse!
