Speaking to a friend in town today who takes a great interest in Man.Utd academy said in his opinion Johnson is 10 times better than Nardiello he desceribed him as a Rooney type player. He's very suprised Man.Utd havn't gave him more first team chances. He also mentioned a centre half called Howard who he thinks would do well at Championship level.

I've known the man 20odd year he was an above local level referee,a Man.Utd fan all his life an occassional Oakwell attender and I have no reason to doubt his assessment of players.Only passing on somebodies opinion of Johnson who's seen him play a lot more than any of us.

His stats don't look too good. Plus, anyone would look better than Nardiello as long as they actually ran every now and then, he's soooo lazy.

    5/29 = 1:6 if he'd scored one more goal.

    Playing in a poor team?

True. But he didn't do much to keep them up.

    Maybe, maybe not...

Having not seen Crewe last season, I am unable to say what his performances were like. Strikers feed on service, maybe the Crewe midfield created few chances last season.

Did you see Crewe last term?
