I'm still having problems making and receiving calls from my 4G EE phone in the Pogmoor area. I've spoken to a couple of EE engineers and they have confirmed that they have switched off cells in the area as part of some rationalisation. Anyone here effected? This has been going on 5 weeks. They did send me a signal box which doesn't seem to have helped. Anyone know the quickest way of cancelling my contract and migrating my number in these circumstances without paying a penalty?
Email the Chief Exec of EE olaf.swantee@ee.co.uk you will get allocated an issue manager from the Executives Office who will deal with your case. Give them chapter and verse. No joy, threaten to take to regulatory ombudsman for redress.
I'm on Shaw Lane and since I was switched to EE from t-mobile a lot of my calls get cut off mid conversation. I never have a problem getting a signal to make or receive a call but once connected it goes off. I'm going to complain again as it's not acceptable and I'm not getting the service I pay for.
On tmobile (wouldn't switch to ee). Everywhere i go the signal is fine. Apart from town centre. Always having to restart my phone to get a signal. 3 times a day on average I notice that my phone says emergency calls only.... so definitely town centre related.
i had the problem in the darton area on orange my pal is on t mobile we have both got out of our contacts free but because i only had the phone 10 months i had to send it back ,they have combined 2 masts to one in our area and the guy actualy checked and told me that orange could not suply the service that i was paying for offered me a signal box which i said what happens when i leave the house they then offered me a 6 month line reduction which i replied what happens to the 8 month which remained at full price which i cant call or receive calls and the 3rd option to terminate my contract which i did pac code straight to tesco 3000 mins 5000txt and 2g data 12 month sim only £20 and its o2 realy
