We're very pleased with the results from our 'Stronger Together' campaign," said secretary Don Rowing. "There has been an appreciable increase and if that continues we will have season-ticket sales greater than since the days of the Premiership campaign."

???

More than 16k season ticket holders here we come haha. Oh and whilst you're around you are married to a Blunt aye....
I think he means Prem Promotion Campaign - i.e. the promotion season in the Championship not the Prem season itself
Not really I think he is using poetic licence to connect on-field success with high season ticket sales, in a genuine attempt to encourage people to buy. The fact is that in pre-season in summer 1996 not many suspected we would be in the running for promotion to the prem, so season ticket sales were probably about average. Obviously the success came later and we all know what happened then. The words "Premiership campaign" are somewhat ambiguous. I suspect the choice of words could have been better as it seems to imply that we might sell more tickets than we did prior to the Premiership season. If that is really what he means, fantastic news!
