The new arrival at Doncaster Rovers says there are things in his career he regrets; but that Warnock is not someone he wants to make peace with.

The pair clashed in the FA Cup third round tie last season between Blackburn Rovers and QPR. Jamie Mackie broke his leg in the game and Warnock accused Diouf of mocking the injured player.

The QPR boss described the striker as "lower than a sewer rat."

Diouf told The Daily Telegraph: "He accused me of mocking an injured player when I played against QPR and I never did that.

"He lost the game and wanted to talk about something to deflect attention away from that so he had a go at me.

"I can't stand him. QPR are in the Premier League, 80 per cent because of Adel Taarabt and look how he treats him.

"He has taken the captaincy away from him (given to new signing **** Barton) and blames him all the time.

"He is not a good manager. Nobody has heard of him outside of this country so who cares what he thinks about me."

The 30-year-old is more repentant on other controversial incidents which have blighted his career. He spat at Celticsupporters and Portsmouth defender Arjan de Zeeuw.

He added: "I regret those things. I've done some bad things and I'm sorry about them. I shouldn't have done it (spitting).

"It brought a lot of shame on me and the clubs I played for. I do things in the heat of the moment, but I am not a bad person. Once you do one thing like that, your reputation gets you in trouble."
