    Can they get anything else wrong for this showpiece....how depressing, morose and melancholy will that tune be?

    and before you mention it, I don't think STEPS should get the gig, no matter how good they were.

    You mean Elbow who have had their music chosen regularly for anthemic purposes? One Day Like this for Euro 2008, Open Arms recently by Sky? Having seen them live sounds a pretty good shout to me

    elbow do that 'epic' 'anthemic' 'repeat the chorus at least 40 times in each song' thing really well to be fair

    perfect for the olympics, tedious s**** though

    loads of different stuff, last album i bought was The Low Anthem. a lot of people would describe that as tedious s**** to be fair, different tastes and all that!
