I once asked Don about prospect of extra revenue from such an event and he said EJ wanted too much and Donnt bowed down to request.

    Not true
Bfc would supply the stadium to a promoter
Bfc would not be paying ej.
    Another non don story
    Getting rather tedious now

Thats one of the benefits of a new stadium, they can attract gigs like this.

I cant really envisage a concert on Oakwell, with the backdrop of the West Stand (as much as we love it, everyone else would/does take the pi55).

    Fair play to Colchester.

I think we're missing a trick with this. Chesterfield have got Tom Jones at their stadium in a few weeks. Donny have had the likes of Brian Adams in the past at the Keepmoat. Now seems to be the ideal time, gives us time to get the pitch sorted before the season starts.

We'd end up like the Huddersfield ground. Early days getting well renowned acts such as REM, Beautiful South and Eagles to perform. But ending up eventually with a pop concert with Girls Aloud on.
