    Just had a response to an email i sent about doing something to show respect and acknowledge the passing of Private Thornton. The club have contacted the Football League and the Referee to seek permission.

    Its some years since i last spoke to him but he was always a massive rugby fan. Never known him go to a Reds game but i may well be wrong! Don't think it matters though- HE was a Tarn lad and would be great for club to allow respects to be shown.....
