Can't wait to hear what they got to say Dear Sirs Further to today's announcement on the official website regarding the availability of FA Cup Semi Final tickets, particularly allowing season ticket holders the option of purchasing 4 per season ticket I would be grateful if you could explain the reasoning behind this decision. As a non season ticket holding fan living in Derbyshire I have attended around 20 matches home and away this season with my son and I feel the current ticketing proposals to be wholly unfair to those non season ticket holders not lucky enough to know someone who owns a season ticket. I would encourage you as a matter of urgency to reconsider the current proposals, preferably as early as possible tomorrow, as to change this proposal after the Ipswich match will risk further alienating those people specifically making the trip to try and gain an advantage in purchasing Semi Final tickets. I can understand that the club wishes to maximise sales and that they may feel that allowing season ticket holders to purchase 4 may achieve this but surely the fans are the club and to put income above the fans is completely unfair to those of us without season tickets from outside the area. I look forward to your prompt response. Regards Matt **** ******* Hilton Derbyshire **** ***
nah to be honest they will be enough tickets for ALL fans so i dont see a problem, iam a non ST holder and iam not worrying about not been able to get a ticket. there any possibility of you getting them by postal order/
its not the fact i might not get a ticket, its the fact that i might end up at the back row of the top tier which i dont want!!!
Personally I dont think the 4 per ST is a bad policy.. as there's not much time to sell 33,000 tickets BUT supporters with decent number of home / away stubs should be allowed to get a couple of tickets before general sale.
Matt I totally agree, I'm in exactly the same situation - and I can't get to the match cause I've just sprained mi ankle so I can't drive up - also got parents evening tomorrow. Anyroad more's to the point I also live in Hilton - perhaps tha fancies a pint in't brook or talbot sometime. Ade
the club reckons 30k not 33k which make sa big difference when you consider that we have nearly 7,000 season ticket holders (based on sales for chelsea) between them and centenery ticket holders the entire allocation could go and thats before taking into account tomorrow night and general sale.
