I know most of them are young lads under the influence of booze but I found it embarrassing listening to them sing McCourt's name & then boo Mellis on to the pitch. Both have been a waste of space for the vast majority of the season yet we've got one been booed & the other having his name sang. It's embarrassing. They're both as bad as each other. Our midfielders seem to be either not good enough or lazy *******s. I can't believe we've got 15 midfielders & the only ones that look any good are Dale Jennings & Bobby Hassell, a defender playing in there. We've wasted a fortune on garbage in the middle.
Its plain stupid booing players whilst game in progress choose what the display after game finishes is another matter
Don't agree. One has had lots of chances and been, mainly, a waste of space. The other has had few chances and has given me the only good memories I'll have of this season. To be fair though, you have been consistent in your opinions.
I agree 100%. I was embarrassed at the reaction Woods got when taken off. I'm OK with booing the team but to single players out is just wrong.
This opinion won't go down well... I think it's wrong to boo player such as m'voto, Kennedy & woods to an extent. There playing to the best of their abilities, which is slightly better than Sunday league, but they got lucky and got a professional contract with us. I'm $h1te at football, but if I was offered the money and a chance to play for barnsley id take it.... Like they have. Mellis on the other hand does not give a flying ****. I doubt booing him affects him either way. If supporters want to show their displeasure at a players lack of effort / respect for the club, whilst getting paid handsomely boo away. Quite frankly he's been taking the p|$$ since Christmas.
