    That's what it was.

We just stood off and stared. City didn't even have to get out of 1st gear.

    That's my opinion.

Be amazed if this pillock keeps us up. His luck ran out 5 games ago.

We set off trying to out football the league champions today on their own turf and got steamrollered without them even getting out of second gear whilst they passed us to death and played straight through us. We should have accepted our limitations and flooded the midfield with bodies with instructions to be in their faces snapping like dogs. Flicker got it wrong today again. However, the players have to take their share of the flak today because they were outworked by City. I accept that they are not in the same league skill wise but to not work as hard as city was unforgivable. Far too many players were found wanting today - it was not a good day. Very disappointed.

I think embarrassment is a bit strong mate. We weren't at the races for sure but we were just beaten by a much much better side. There were some of our lads who put the effort in but we were chasing shadows. I do agree that Flicker is getting his starting line ups wrong though. I can't work out for the life of me why Tunnicliffe started today.

its not just you mate, there were plenty of us who thought the same.

city fan on 5 live said it was like men playing against boys and for me that just about summed it up...a non league team would have put up a better fight.

city for most of the game looked like they were on a training pitch.

Very good teams make ordinary teams look like ****, without making hard work of it. We had no answer for it. It's ridiculous to get stuck into the players - when Daggers came off he was wrecked.

I said during the game that I could accept being out played, out skilled, out passed, etc by them but not to be out fought, there was no excuse for that at all. Some of our players didn't turn up, some waved the white flag and that is what really got to me. And how many more 'mistakes' is Flicker going to make with his selections.

Not outfought...with the exception of Etuhu..who I can barely remember having a touch, all the lads grafted...but you don't come across a player of Tevez's quality in the Championship

Etuhu was an embarrassment today, he let us down more than any other player.

Some short memories on here. How many moaned about opposing fans saying they'd been useless rather than we'd made them look bad. It was man city away ffs

    Get a grip, ffs.

We were not outfought. Outthought yes, outfought no.

They were just better than us, end of story.

We are still the same team that's struggled all season probably worse at present its amazing we ain't marooned at the bottom of the league.

All the weaknesses we have were fully exploited yesterday making the game a non event as expected my young un loved every minute though making it a worth while trip.

I feel for the lad. The only position he hasn't played in his career is keeper. He looked quite at home in Central midfield and then boom. Let's stick him as right wing back and left midfield in the last 2 games.

I agree to a point (Flicker is pi55ing around with selections too much) but regardless of the position he is played in there is no excuse for not putting any effort in during your shift.

I wonder whether Etuhu is annoyed that he is being shifted around team, when he knows his best games for REDS has been in middle of park, where Flicker is now playing Tunnicliffe?

Still doesn't stop you putting a shift in but sub-consciously I bet Etuhu is frustrated.

What's that make Mellis who seems to be further down the pecking order than either of those two and in my opinion he's more gifted than those two?
