He wants to leave Aston Villa to improve his chances of playing in the World Cup as he is currently being kept out of the Villa team.....by an English striker not in the England team. Or am I missing something?
It's really John Carew that is keeping him out of the team, but I agree with the sentiment of your post. Heskey at the World Cup would be an embarrassment.
That striker is starting tonight. Heskey and Agbonlahor are totally different footallers. Heskey plays well alongside Rooney, who is our best striker, would Agbonlahor be able to? I hope he plays well tonight and takes his chance, but that argument means sh*t.
RE: That striker is starting tonight. I doubt Agbonlahor will be in the World Cup squad but we shall see. I agree that he is a completely different footballer from Heskey as he is half decent. I think I must be missing Heskey's good games alongside Rooney though. I suppose it's the same argument with KO - he doesn't score so he must be "doing a job".
Doesnt matter who scores providing ALL are contributing to a win Its the winning that matters after all insnt it ?
There's you, Emile Heskey, a Lion and a Tiger in a locked cage, you have a gun and two bullets, what do you do? Answer, Shoot Emile Heskey twice.
is not and can never be classed as a striker / centre forward. one on one with the goalie, yours truly and kayode odedonkey would score more. yes he holds the ball up and lays it off. big wow. how he gets a shirt is beyond me. he is a big soft toss pot who has 20 times more caps than he deserves. give owen / defoe / cole / agbonlahour / me / a chance
