The first comment below the report suggests he's often been played on the right, which doesn't suit him as he'd rather cut in and shoot. But the thing which always struck me with Vaz Te was, he was strong with either foot. I think that's why he was so good for us. Regardless of where and when he got the ball, he made something happen.
If they would only have paid us a few million pounds for him, WH would be challenging for a champions league spot at this time of season. Haha
Exactly. I think Vaz Te should be a hero for them. They were garbage and struggling to make the top 6 before he came and fired them to the greed league. 500k for that? Bargain/Hero.
Agree with the author, he's much better as a striker than as a winger. Though probably not quite good enough for the PL in any case. He, or the club, will no doubt have to make a decision soon about whether he's happy to sit on the bench in the PL or play regularly at championship level. I really don't think we'd get a look in at all though tbh.
