Expected a 20 point margin, but we do look a right shambles.

And now the only player worthy of wearing the shirt today has probably played his last game. He won't come back from that.

What A Difference Six Days Make

Only last saturday it was well done all round for winning at cricket, rugby and football. Today we lose at two out of three and so back to the old stuff we are use to. The rugby team are a disgrace and not fit to be world champions. Thankfully they won't be for much longer anyway.

Not many people were impressed with the Rugby performance

The current side are not good enough to be World Champions - South Africa could well win it. To say they are a disgrace is well out of order. Not one player can be faulted for lack of effort. They just arent good enough

Absolutely no pace or creativity. Triers, yes, but no way was this a team that was ever capable of defending their crown. Other teams have progressed and started to play an expansive game. Even the 'boks are doing it - something they weren't renowned for four years ago. We're years behind.

    A real shame

    He owes our country nothing

Tragic that he has gone out in these circumstances though

Only you said well done for the win against USA, DB. They weren't very good in that match either.

    Not sure I agree

I'm no rugby expert but England have looked hapless with little pace nor guille nor pride. Never looked like notching a try.

As poor as I've seen in many a year.

Agreed mate. Been superb at both codes of rugby and one of the most exciting players to grace the game. Sad end to his career.

    Re: England 0 - 33 RSA

The rot started as soon as Clive Woodward steped down - 3 years with the wrong guy running the national team gave us no hope of recovering.

Hasn't done us any favours, that's for sure. Old Boys network and keeping it all 'in the family' as it were has cost us dearly. 'Course, it'll be Ahston who gets all the **** and nobody at the RFL will have the courtesy to step down or take any blame.

    What are you disagreing with

I said they arent good enough -and they arent
I dont think any of the players arent trying -they are playing the wrong tactics - not really their fault. with probably the wrong balance of players but none of the men on the field have let us down by not caring or doing their best

    Depends

If we played a premieship side and tried our best but got well beaten by a better side - fair enough
Its when the players dont turn up that I get upset
The players brought on in the last 20 mins have improved things a bit

right does that mean we can forget about..

... public school egg chasers for another 4 year ??

Game in which it seems to be the team with the best kicker (fly half ?) wins because of penalties. Oh I'm not doubting the physical prowess of the lads involved, or their respect for the referee but the rules seem incomprehensible and any game where kicking for touch is applauded.... well I don't get it. Also all that 'scrumming' any one think that may be just a bit 'gay' ... very faggoting in the dorms me thinks:D

OK that's all B*ll*cks, I just don't like or understand Rugger... see even sounds like bugger !!!

    tin hat right on !!!
