    Sunday: Slovakia.

    July 6th: Italy or Switzerland.

July 10th: Romania, Netherlands, Austria or Turkey.

I think if before the tournament someone said to us in the group stage we would top the group unbeaten, only let in one goal and have that run to the final we'd have been delighted.

Plenty of nations that expected to win their groups have failed. We haven't. Bring on Slovakia.

We've been extremely fortunate with draws in the recent past - hopefully it pans out well again but can go the distance this time when we do meet a 'big' side!

Hey Dreamer, this has a worrying Euro '16 feel about it for me, to be honest.
And remember Roy Hodgson didn't have a clue that summer, and he'd made it clear he was leaving anyway, regardless!.
Is Gareth leaving after this one ?, that's not been made clear yet. And it's crossed my mind this week, has he already made his mind up, hence the apparent awful decisions and selections etc!.

Seems like we struggle against these ‘smaller’ teams. Maybe Netherlands or the tougher side would have kicked us into gear.

You could be right mate but I dont think he's that type. I reckon if anything, if he were leaving (I think he will after this), he'd just throw anyone in if it wasn't working. I.e Gordon for more than 3 minutes and Palmer for more than 20. Wharton, even. Personally, I just think its same old typical 'safe' Southgate being too fearful

Austria are probably favourites to make the semi’s now out of that quarter of the draw.

That would be an interesting game if we played them. We couldn’t make any excuses about sides sitting back there as they play on the front foot every game.
