    hes been in. there squad brian but hasnt played. cant see ks wanting to play for england.

    After seeing some of the other keepers who have been called up I would say that Steele is worth a shout. He's better than the keeper at Ipswich.

    I think you're right. I am pretty sure I saw an interview with him, by Gabby Logan I think, and he said that he would only ever play for Denmark.

    At our fans forum meeting last tuesday Luke said his ambition was to get back in the national setup.

    He last played at u20 level I think and was on the verge of u21 call up when he had a bad injury.

    Don't think so Taylor came the closest l think he played a year after leaving us. I reckon someone will come up with some old name from back in the day "when he'd just done 16 hour shift on coal face, jumped on't steam train darn to London and played for England in afterno'in, no shin pads, football was made a steel and they wore itchy shirts. Played second half with a broken leg an all"

    One of the 1912 cup winning team was capped, I have a feeling it was George Utley or Dickie Downs. I would guess that Turvey Tyke will be able to confirm this though!
