    Lost interest in football some time ago. Only interested in BFC nowadays. I only have a look at links to great goals, contraversial incidents, funny incidents, etc, so I enjoyed watching Gerrard get sent off yesterday. I do, however, still do the Fantasy League, but even then he's passed me by, so he mustn't get many goals or assists!

    I'm happy for Mason, forced his way into the first team picture & kept out experienced players signed for decent money despite only playing league one football a year ago.

    Neat & tidy player with bags of energy. A bit of a Josh Scowen type but at a higher level.

    Due to Gerrard & Lampard retiring & a general shortage of central midfielders it'll give Mason & other young lads a chance to step up.

    I've never heard of Ryan Mason either. And the only reason I've heard of Nathaniel Clyne is because I posted on here that I'd never heard of him when he first made the England squad. Still wouldn't know him if I fell over him. Same is true of Danny Rose, who I only know because he shares a name with an ex-Barnsley player. I've seen Fabian Delph play once. That was for England.

    Was on loan at Donny and Swindon for a time. He has certainly come through well.

    They were saying a few weeks ago on MOTD that they'd be surprised if Ryan Mason wasn't picked for England because he's been one of the best English players in the PL this season, just lacking goals to his game. I always thought he was Welsh.

    Just think if you have John Stones and Ryan Mason in the squad and put their 2 names together you'd have John Ryan, anyone else picked up on that?
