Best in the world... At having unrealistic ambitions about their sports teams which I think is the main part of the problem...
Best in the world at fishing. Lads from the Barnsley area highly involved at national level through out the ranks.
Yep, why on earth are we worried about football, cricket and rugby... When there's fishing. Is there some teamwork involved? I honestly have no idea how it works.
Yes. International matches involves teams from upto 40 different countries. The rules make football look simple. everything is stringently checked. Fish for team and indiviaul gold.
So what is the teamwork? Just asking....yes I realise they compete as teams but how is teamwork involved, surely it's just the individual efforts of everyone but counted together.
But the beeb think Ice Dancing is a sport. Sport isn't about sport any more, it's about TV ratings and Royal Patronage.
The BBC Had a show jumper on sports pensoality of the year. Will rasion is ratedas the besy angler in the world
Preperation...Bait, tactics, groundbait best time to feed. Good week of practice prior to the competition starting. Those who didnt get in the team run the bank
Also each member of the team fishes a section of water and competes against a member of the other teams who are drawn in that section. The totals from each section make up the teams final score. I'm not sure if they use weight of fish or number of fish caught to decide the winners. In the UK we used total weight but the Continentals counted the number of fish caught, but that was 30 years ago when I did a bit of match fishing with Highstone Road Club.
