Worrying isn't it from 11 downwards barring Oxlade-Chamberlin.

Our second keeper is Rob Green. Any injury to Joe and he'll be between the sticks. He hasn't played a competitive game for England since that howler in the world cup finals. His confidence is a bit low and should he have to play the pressure on him will be immense. What shirt number shall we give him?

    Cheers EL.

Yeah doesn't look too good after 11 bar The Ox and Parker (my personal favourite)...... I've always had a soft spot for Defoe though

Lampard and Gerrard does not work. One or the other for me. Pref Gerrard. And No Terry.

Johnson is awful, Parker is overrated and Carroll is a Carthorse.

    How is Parker over-rated?

He controls the game through his ability in the midfield, always puts in 100% and is proud to play for his country.

I think Parket and the Ox are good cover plus I don't know there aren't much better second choice left backs than Leighton Baines - and Phil Jagielka is good cover. Phil Jones is good cover as well.

Agree on Downing, wouldn't have him at Barnsley!

Good cover in the Premiership against the likes of Wigan but against Holland, Spain, Germany etc.... they'll get murdered.

Downing's *****, god knows why Liverpool paid so much.

Do we really have no other English left-footed left-wingers...

I'd agree with the last two points.

You've overrated him with your first point.

Fir do's, maybe he doesn't control the game, but he does a lot of work and plays very well. Top lad IMO.

Better version of a David Perkins type of player. Runs a lot but little ability.

Parker is excellent defensively. Best we have at breaking up the oppositions attacks and midfield possession. He isn't a great technician or passer but that isn't his role.

I disagree. So does the manager of the team that finished 4th in the Prem and So does the manager of England.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Worrying from 11 downwards? I'd say worrying from 2 downwards if Johnson's our first choice right back. And Terry's our first choice centre back. And Gerrard and Lampard are our favoured centre midfield pairing.

    Nowt to come.

on paper, the weakest England squad in my lifetime.

    So we'll probably win it.
