    Sven obviously saw enough in the last friendly to say no. mind, I never rated Vassell.

    Even so, walcott hasnt even played in the premiership or even at junior level for England. If not Bent then Defoe or even Andy Johnson. Walcott shouldn't even be considered in my opinion.

    Also while I'm slagging off the England team, F****ng sol campbell, useless waste of space, been on crap form and is only going based on past reputation, Ledley King twice better for me.

    If not then sending Campbell ahead of him is a bit strange to say the least.

    Walcotts played at U19 Level..

    and I don't mind taking him. Picking Hargreaves instead of a 5th striker is the one I can't understand.

    Walcott played for U-19s

    I saw him at Northampton in an England U-19s game vs Slovakia end of Feb.  He was very fast but otherwise didn't stand out in what was a very good side.  They won 3-0.</p>

    yeah thought he did thats why i put "etc" after, didnt really know what levels though.
    Agreed, Defeo/Bent instead of Hargreaves.
