Germany won the European U21 championships in the summer. In the last round of Bundesliga matches, 8 of 10 of the outfield players who started in the U21 final were in the starting line-ups of their Bundesliga teams (the other two came on as subs). England won the World U20 Cup in the summer. In the last round of Foreign Greed Circus League matches 0 of 10 of the outfield players who started in the U20 final were in the starting line-ups of their PL teams. Okay there's a year's difference between the two but I very much doubt that anything like 8 of that England U20 team will be regular starters in a year's time. The FA have sold English football out to the highest foreign bidder caring more for the money than the performance of the national team. If the FA don't care about good English talent progressing in our own league then they'll continue to get the restricted talent pool that they deserve and which will get nowhere in major tournaments.
