Cheers for that, although I didn't enjoy it at the time,we were jammy fookers that day that's for sure, the pitch invasions were embarrasing(yes I did go on) looking back but the relief when we got them goals was unbelievable, stopped me going on the sick anyway, couldn't have faced the leedshite and manure fans at our place. Recall the dogs abuse wilson got all through the game, worst I've ever heard directed at one of our own and there's been plenty of competion.

That game was the turning point for Wilson..

he'd been pretty awful up to and including that game. Previous to that he tried to be a Glenn Hoddle trying 30 yard cross -field passes and such. As soon as he abandoned that and stuck to what he did best, breaking up opponents play, winning the ball and passing to the more creative players it wasn't long before he turned peoples opinion of him.

Loved that, brought back some great memories. Recognise a few faces there too from those that ran on the pitch; naughty boys... Can remember the feeling of relief when the goals went in, having been dreading being the big cup shock of the day. Fantastic, could remember Archdeacon's winner but not Rammell's equaliser. Quality suff, 3 pitch invasions, wouldn't happen today mind...
