I've been in hospital in London since last Thursday and it looks like I'm going to be here for another week at least. Im really, really feckin bored. I do have my laptop and internet connection via my mobile (BTW when did they start letting patients use their mobiles in hospitals?). Anyone got any suggestions to pass the time? Anyone read any good books lately?
Another week? Kin ell. Do you want some decent grub fetching?
I can bring you my PSP if you want?

Yeah saw the consultant earlier, I thought I might be out today - he had other ideas. Looks like I'm missing the game on Saturday (unless I sneak out and get the train up with you lot) The PSP would be great if it's not going to disadvantage you too much. I don't know if it's just the thought of been here another week that has made me feel particularly bored just now.
which hospital? I will come and see you. i will pick up some friends from ye olde axe to entertain you
I don't blame you... Hospitals aren't the best places, but at least you have t'internet and your phone eh.
PSP won't be a hardship for a week mate- I'll bring it tomorrow- I think ladyboy will come and see you after work as well.
Did you get my text about England tickets- do you have any for Wednesday you want to shift as a few people are asking.
Oh and thats not actually a bad idea mate- you should see if you can get out Satdi morning and get yourself to the modern cafe for 9.30. I'm not even joking- doctors know nothing. Dr Hicks prescribes a bacon and egg sarnie and a trip on midland mainline!

RE: Just one. Cheers mate. The old boy in the bed next to me was watching as I checked that out and has just flatlined Don't worry though I think they've manage to restart his heart.
much better, i can walk again which is a start though it took me 10 min to get out of bed and the missus had to help dress me my boss went off on one as well as i wasn't going to the seminar
RE: I don't blame you... I thought I had tickets for Wednesday but I must have forgot to book them as I can't find an email confirmation anywhere. I will login to England Fans to be double sure. They're going to reassess me towards the end of the week so I will see if an outing on Saturday is a possibility I'm not sure they whether adding liver failure to the list of complaints will win me many friends with the doctors though
Sorry to hear you're not well. I hope it's nothing too serious. The nursing staff told mum she could leave her mobile switched on but on silent when I was in having my legs pinned. Have you got a portable dvd player? A friend lent me theirs when I was in. from The Big Lils xxxx
Thanks Laura Ive got a DVD on my laptop but typically it's broken. Might have to try and get it replaced.
I'll be over tomorrow Do you want a decent bottle of beer fetching over? Not sure what books I've got, there all beer and wine related I think
